Casa Curva

Apartment designed for a young family. A curved wall at the entrance softens the length of the hallway and interacts with natural light, creating a sense of continuity and dynamism. A door with reeded glass brightens the darker initial section of the corridor. A careful play of volumes has turned storage areas into architectural features, optimizing every space. The kitchen includes an integrated pantry and fridge, while the master bedroom features a headboard with built-in niches for the bedside tables. Neutral-toned ash parquet flooring runs throughout the apartment, creating cohesion across all rooms. Porcelain stoneware, hand-glazed terracotta, and resin in soft tones alternate with material consistency, enriching the design without disrupting its unity. An exposed concrete beam contrasts with the warm materials of the interiors, adding a bold, distinctive character to the project. The design was developed in collaboration with Mattia Migliorati woodworker, who crafted all the custom-made carpentry.
