Ludovico II

The new operational headquarters of the architecture studio stems from an interior renovation project aimed at preserving the building’s original identity, enhancing its architectural qualities, and adapting it to a contemporary work environment. Historic materials and original proportions are respected: the restored terrazzo flooring tells the story of the space, while large windows and high ceilings provide natural light and a sense of openness. Technical requirements were transformed into design opportunities: systems are discreetly integrated into a blue resin insert that follows the curve of the architectural arch, bringing visual continuity to the space. The same finish appears in the adjacent meeting room and private office, next to the open space designed to foster both collaboration and focus. Custom-designed furniture introduces warm materials and tactile surfaces, creating a harmonious contrast with the neutral tones and formal clarity. An open wooden bookcase separates the work area from the waiting area and the materials library, the heart of the studio’s research. The result is a minimal yet welcoming space, where memory and modernity merge in a way that reflects the studio’s design sensibility.
